Vice President Election 2025: उपराष्ट्रपति चुनाव 2025 के लिए संसद में मतदान हुआ, जिसमें सबसे पहले प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने वोट डाला और उसके बाद वे पंजाब के बाढ़ग्रस्त इलाकों के दौरे के लिए रवाना हो गए। उनके बाद एक-एक करके NDA के सभी सांसदों ने वोट डाला। मतदान करने से पहले NDA के सभी सांसद प्रधानमंत्री मोदी से मिले।
मतदान से पहले NDA के सभी सांसद अलग-अलग मंत्रियों के आवास पर जुटे और नाश्ता किया। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के बाद रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह, पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री और राज्यसभा में JD(S) सांसद एचडी देवेगौड़ा, केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी, जेपी नड्डा, अर्जुन राम मेघवाल और प्रहलाद जोशी ने अपने वोट डाले। राज्यसभा के उपसभापति हरिवंश ने भी अपना मत डाला।
परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी और कांग्रेस प्रमुख मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे हाथ मिलाते नजर आए, क्योंकि दोनों एक समय पर एक साथ संसद पहुंचे थे। BJP सांसद कंगना रनौत ने भी वोट डाला। इनके अलावा कांग्रेस सांसद सोनिया गांधी, प्रियंका गांधी और राहुल गांधी ने मतदान किया। तीनों एक साथ आए थे। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे ने भी मतदान किया।
