Ramoji Rao Passes Away, Who was Ramoji Rao: आज सुबह यानी शनिवार 8 जून को सिनेमा जगत में तब शोक की लहर छा गई, जब फिल्म मुगल रामोजी राव के निधन की खबर आई। जी हां, एशिया की सबसे बड़ी फिल्म सिटी के मालिक यानी रामोजी राव अब हमारे बीच नहीं रहे हैं। रामोजी राव हेल्थ संबंधी परेशानी से पीड़ित थे और उनका इलाज चल रहा था, लेकिन आज अल-सुबह उन्होंने अस्पताल में आखिरी सांस ली। रामोजी राव के निधन से पूरे सिनेमाजगत में शोक की लहर है। हर कोई उनके निधन पर दुख जाहिर कर रहा है। सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट के जरिए सभी उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दे रहे हैं।
कौन थे रामोजी राव?
रामोजी राव कोई ऐसा वैसा नाम नहीं थे। जी हां, रामोजी राव दुनिया के सबसे बड़े फिल्म स्टूडियो परिसर यानी रामोजी फिल्म सिटी के मालिक थे। साल 1996 में साउथ के मशहूर फिल्म निर्माता और मीडिया बैरॉन श्री रामोजी राव ने रामोजी फिल्म नगर की स्थापना की थी। रामोजी ग्रुप की ईकाई उषा किरण मूवीज लिमिटेड हिंदी, मलयालम, तेलुगु, तमिल, कन्नड़, मराठी और बांग्ला में अस्सी से भी ज्यादा फिल्में बना चुकी है। उषा किरण मूवीज लिमिटेड ने भारतीय फिल्माकारों की फिल्मी कल्पना के मुताबिक इस फिल्म सिटी का निर्माण किया था।

रामोजी राव के इस स्टूडियो परिसर में तमाम सुविधाएं हैं। ये कोई ऐसा-वैसा फिल्म स्टूडियो नहीं है। जी हां, ये अपने आपमें ही बेहद कमाल का है। रामोजी फिल्म सिटी को दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा फिल्म स्टूडियो परिसर माना जाता है। बता दें कि यह स्टूडियो 2000 एकड़ (8.2वर्ग किलोमीटर) से भी अधिक क्षेत्रफल में फैला हुआ है। इस स्टूडियो में 50 शूटिंग फ्लोर है। रामोजी फिल्म सिटी दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा फिल्म स्टूडियो कॉम्प्लेक्स है। इतना ही नहीं बल्कि इस तरह इसे गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड्स द्वारा प्रमाणित किया गया है। द गार्डियन ने रामोजी फिल्म सिटी को “एक शहर के भीतर शहर” के रूप में बनाया है।
