भूकंप के जोरदार झटकों ने धरती को ऐसे दहलाया कि मौत और तबाही का मंजर दिखा दिया। भूकंप से सब कुछ ऐसे हिल गया, मानो प्रलय आ गई हो। म्यांमार में बीते दिन 7.7 की तीव्रता वाले भूकंप ने साक्षात यमराज के दर्शन करा दिए। इतना विनाशकारी भूकंप आया कि म्यांमार के साथ थाईलैंड तक तबाह हो गया। थाइैलेंड की राजधानी बैंकॉक में हाहाकार मच गया। हालात देखते हुए देश में इमरजेंसी लगा दी गई। आधे से ज्यादा शहर मलबे का ढेर बन गया है।
